I wrote a review of the sling but the same applies here, totally disappointed in the customer service and honoring the advertised mega sale pricing.
I had high hopes for this one. I like the design in general, but the connection is too small for my sling poles. A diameter note and I suggested that you confirm before purchase in the description would’ve been helpful.
The diameter of the connector on this piece is approximately 1-1/8” and my sling pole is 1-1/4“ diameter.
I have an Extreme Restrains brand sling (I think). Way overpriced for what it is, but actual issue is the sideposts are too thick for this cum caddy to fit onto it. can attach to horizontal crossbars with some modifications.
1) crossbar is slightly too skinny, added a leather coaster stolen from local bar and wrapped around to provide just the right thickness to the crossbar for a snug fit.
2) this turns the thing sideways which means A) paper towels now are parallel to ground and B) lube/cup holder thing won’t work.
Solutions A) put sock over paper towel holder tube, then put paper towel on. makes it more snug and not slip off but also still rotates freely. B) able to drill out new slot in plastic in kind of that indent on the bottom side, and can attach lube/cup holder thing there. Now works perfect. So honestly 5 stars. Usually more sub, but I can be power bottom too. I don’t mind making things work the way I want them to.
